Keep what drives you. Change how you carry it. Evolve who you are becoming.
Understand and work with what sits beneath how you perform, lead and live.
Five days. Twelve people. The whole human system.
I'm interested to learn moreThis is not another wellness retreat nor a mindset hack.
AI and exponential technology are reshaping how we live, work, connect and lead. The pace is accelerating, the volume of input keeps growing, and the result is that many of us are carrying more than we have the capacity to properly process.
Attention becomes fractured. The signal gets harder to distinguish from the noise. We become more reactive, less present and increasingly disconnected from the people, places and parts of life that matter most.
And you are probably not going to stop.
You are unlikely to become less ambitious, care less about what you are capable of, or suddenly decide you have done enough and step back. Nor should you have to.
The question is: can you understand the human operating system beneath that ambition well enough to stop repeating the same costly patterns?
This is about building and evolving the underlying foundation to carry the load. It's about developing the capacity and resilience so you don't have to step back. It's about knowing and understanding the organism you are, empowering you to design the life you want.
This is not simply a technological revolution. It is a profound test of what it means to remain fully human inside systems that increasingly compete for our attention, shape our behaviour and operate faster than we do.
The Sapient Immersive is the opportunity to reclaim and develop what makes us distinctly human: presence, awareness, the ability to consciously choose, feel, attune and evolve.
You do not need to be broken, burnt out or in crisis.
This is for high-performing founders, owners, CEOs, executives, and other accomplished humans with a strong sense of purpose and deep commitment to what they are building, in business and life.
Most of the time, they love what they do. They are willing to back an idea before the outcome is certain or pursue possibilities that others might dismiss or leave unexplored.
Some are passionate about solving a problem that matters or building a business in a field they love, where they can make an impact. Others love the game of business and the opportunity to create wealth and an enduring legacy. Often, all of these motivations are at play. Beneath them is a desire to make a meaningful difference through what they build.
Across our work with hundreds of founders, owners, CEOs and executives throughout Australia and New Zealand, we have analysed the information they have shared with us. People who have mostly never met each other consistently describe the same pressures, patterns and private tensions.
You may recognise some of them:
You are genuinely grateful for your life and still carry a persistent sense that something is not quite settled.
You have achieved things you once imagined would make you feel secure, successful or satisfied, but the feeling does not hold for long before the next horizon appears.
You rarely stop carrying the business, the family, the decisions, the people and the future. Even when you are physically present, part of you is still solving something.
Under pressure, you do what has always worked. Think harder, work longer, take more responsibility and push through. It keeps producing results, until it doesn't.
You know how to optimise almost everything, but recovery can become another performance project. Another routine, metric or practice to get right.
You can be extraordinarily capable in one part of life and still feel confused, reactive or completely stuck in another.
You understand many of your patterns. You may have had the coaches, therapists, programmes, forums, books and conversations. Yet some things continue to surface because awareness has not released them.
The people you love sometimes receive what remains after the work, the responsibility and the constant internal occupation have taken their share.
You are not looking to retire psychologically, become less ambitious or abandon the drive that built your life. You just do not want every next level to require another period of white-knuckling, depletion or repair.
What can look like a mindset problem, a personality trait or a failure of discipline may actually be the output of an interconnected system doing exactly what it learned to do.
These patterns are not failures of intelligence or character. They were built over a lifetime, reinforced because they worked, and kept running after the price began to exceed the benefit.
The aim is not to erase the drive that built your life. It is to understand it, work with it and create the internal and external conditions where it no longer needs to extract the same price.
The experience is intimate and by invitation, with no more than twelve participants. As the cohort takes shape, we consider each new participant in the context of the group already forming, so the experience works well for everyone involved.
It's not self-improvement. It's whole-human transformation.
Most personal and professional development starts at the top. Goals, mindset, motivation, behaviour and performance.
We start at the foundation.
We explore the biology and physiology shaping your state. The stories, experiences and learned patterns shaping how you respond. The environments, relationships and constant inputs influencing what you notice, how you interpret it and how you respond. And the meaning you make of all of it, including who you have become and what you want the next part of your life to be about.
We work from the body upwards and the environment inwards, connecting layers that are usually treated separately:
Your physiology, nervous system, energy, recovery and accumulated stress load.
Your history, identity, beliefs and the responses that became automatic because they once worked.
The physical, relational and digital conditions shaping your perception, choices and signal-to-noise ratio.
How you live, lead and connect, what matters now, and how insight becomes something you can actually sustain.
This programme is a living process, designed around the way humans actually grow and change. Science provides the framework, while wisdom and nature shape how the work is experienced.
Throughout the programme, you will come to understand your whole human system and how to support it.
This creates the conditions for more of the human you aspire to be to emerge.
From automation, to awareness, to authorship.
Begin underneath the output. Explore how your physiology, nervous system, energy and accumulated stress load are shaping what you notice, how you feel and how you respond. Learn to work with your body rather than continually asking it to absorb more.
Trace the patterns beneath your reactions and emotional loops. Understand how they were created and once protected or advanced you, and why they continue running after the cost has begun to outweigh the benefit.
Change the conditions and you change what becomes possible to perceive. Through stillness, scale, nature and distance from ordinary life, notice how your state, attention and environment have been shaping what appears important, or true.
Interrupt the automatic responses that keep producing familiar outcomes. Create enough space between stimulus and response to react more calmly and considered, allowing you to make more conscious choices and experience yourself behaving differently.
Examine the stories you have inherited and repeated about who you are and what your life requires of you. Alter the trajectory these patterns of behaviour and thought have set you on. Through actualisation and authorship, decide what remains true and what has completed its purpose.
The Sapient Immersive is held at The Headwaters Eco Lodge in Glenorchy, surrounded by the mountain and river landscapes of the Southern Alps.
Some of the work happens in the room. Much of it does not.
We will work through conversation, individual reflection, movement, breath, shared experience, and time in the landscape, including the Dart River and the environments surrounding Glenorchy.
The place is not simply the backdrop. It is part of the methodology.
Removing you from the conditions that constantly reinforce your existing patterns creates space to see them more clearly. Neuroscience research confirms the effect of a new expansive environment on both expansive thinking and introspection. The landscape changes your pace and the quality of attention available. The whole environment becomes the campus.
This is where insight moves beyond intellectual understanding and becomes something you can feel, test, practise, and integrate into how you live.
Drew brings nearly thirty years of studying and working in human behaviour and performance with tens of thousands of people. His work helps people understand how they became who they are and change the patterns shaping their behaviour.
Simon brings more than twenty years across neuroscience, neuropharmacology, physiology, data, flow, and human performance. His work makes the biology beneath stress, attention, decision-making and sustained performance understandable, measurable and practically useful.
Eugene is a breathwork, contrast, and energy specialist and co-founder of Next Step Collective. He brings extensive experience facilitating breathwork and immersive wellness experiences, helping people work directly with their physiology and nervous system.
Together, they connect a deep understanding of human behaviour and biology with direct embodied experience.
This is an intimate, highly personalised experience offered by invitation and conversation.
If something on this page has landed, the next step is simply a conversation. We will answer your questions, explore whether the experience is right for you, and whether you are right for the group.
What we really want is to show people like us another way of living. Another way of becoming.
If this is for you, you probably already know.
